Still she wears her red dress, and paints her toes and twirls. Emily takes it back to old times of honey, oatmeal, yuzu, almond, Turkish mocha, vanilla, coconut, and sandalwood.

When I first put Emily on, the scent was instantly familiar, but I couldn't quite put my finger on why. As the scent matured on my skin, I figured it out: it was just like the orange sweet rolls my family makes on special occasions!
Emily is warm, spicy, and delicious. This was the first perfume I have ever worn that actually felt like my perfume, the scent I had been looking for all these years.
This is one of those heavy scents - not heavy as in overbearing, but heavy with nostalgia and sentiment. All those sweet and comforting scents of childhood mixed with the ancient sandalwood and grown-up Turkish coffee... You will be torn between wanting to either curl up cozily by yourself with a good book, or go out for ice cream with your friends.
Sweet orange and coffee and almond and sweet spices, yum!
Emily has sandalwood and while I am not normally a person who enjoys sandalwood in her perfumes, it makes this particular one a little deeper, spicier which allows the sweet to show up. I am enamored with the almond, yuzu, and coconut in this. So tasty and delicious, all on my wrist!
